Huge first half leads to easy win

Southwestern women's lacrosse posted 12 first half goals on the way to a 15-2 win over the University of Dallas in Irving on Sunday.

The Pirates were unstoppable in the first half and only the weather could slow down Southwestern's potent offense in the second half. The rain and wind set in and Dallas snuck home two goals to start the second half. SU closed the half with three more goals to arrive at the 15-2 final.

Courtney Ragland led the Pirates with four goals and four assists while Catie Willis added three goals. Allison Schmitt added in one goal and three assists.

The Pirates improve to 2-1 on the year and return to action with their first home game of the year, facing George Fox on Thursday at 5pm.
