SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Southwestern women's golf team sits in second place after one round of the Alamo City Classic. The Pirates posted a combined score of 337 while host institution Trinity leads the field with a 314. 

Emily Campbell leads Southwestern and is tied for seventh overall with an opening round 82 while Leilani McDaniel is just one stroke behind and tied for 10th with an 83. Paige Greenan shot an 85 on the day and ended tied for 12th. Valentina Olivieri posted an 87 and Julia Wofford rounded out Southwestern's performance with a 92. 

The Pirates close tournament play on Tuesday.
