BLANCO, Texas - On a windy afternoon the Southwestern women's golf team came home with a third place finish at the 2017 SCAC Championship.
Valentina Olivieri and Leilani McDaniel earned All-SCAC second team honors with seventh and eight place finishes, respectively. Olivieri finished with a 167 (85-82) and McDaniel at 168 (83-85). Paige Greenan had a strong showing to finish in 11th with a 172 (87-85) while Katherine Dyo and Mikayla Miller tied for 16th with 182 strokes.
Trinity University won the team title with a score of 665 and Centenary's Jessica Varner took the individual title with a 154.
