Women's golf sits in third after opening round

ABILENE, Texas - Valentina Olivieri led the way for Southwestern and finished tied for second through one round, shooting five over par. 

Leilani McDaniel and Paige Greenan tied for ninth with a 90, Mikayla Miller shot 84 and Katherine Dyo an 85. 

Southwestern is just nine strokes off the lead and close the tournament on Tuesday.
