Women's golf take seventh at DIII National Preview

HOUSTON, Texas - In the final regular season event of the year Southwestern finished in seventh at the Division III National Preview. 

Bernice Leonard came in tied for 12th with a 163 after shooting 79-84. Keeley Coburn finished at 164 (81-83) to come in tied for 15th. Mikayla Miller was close behind with a 169 (84-85) to finish tied for 27th. 

Valentina Olivieri shaved seven strokes off her opening round to finish with 173 strokes and tied for 37th while Katherine Dyo rounded out the Pirates' team with a 192 and in 66th place. 

UT Tyler won the event with a 616 and teammates Laura Lindsey and Amy Cox shared the individual title with 149 strokes. 

The West Region Invitational marks the end of the regular season for the Pirates as Southwestern next heads to the SCAC Championship at Vaalar Creek Country Club beginning on April 18th.
