Southwestern forward Annie Bourne was named to the d3hoops.com Third Team All-South Region after an outstanding senior campaign.

Bourne left her mark in the SCAC record book by becoming the all-time leading career rebounder on senior night in Georgetown. She closed her career with 1178 rebounds and 1054 points, eclipsing the 1000 point mark against Colorado College on February 13^th in Colorado Springs.

Bourne ranks in the top fivev int eh conference in field goal percentage (50.2% - 3rd), offensive rebounds (86 - 2nd), defensive rebounds (270 - 1st), total rebounds (356 - 1st), and rebounds per game (12.7 - 1st). 

Bourne is the only SCAC women's basketball player named in the report and just the second Southwestern player to earn All-Region honors. Chelsea Leeder was a First Team selection in 2012-13. 

Southwestern closed their season with an SCAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA National Tournament where they fell to UT Tyler.
