Pirates cage Tigers in big home win

GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern took control of the game midway through the first half and maintained it to the final buzzer, defeating Colorado College 82-58 on Friday.

Southwestern led by only nine at halftime, 34-25, despite forcing 18 Colorado College turnovers and outrebounding CC 17-14. Colorado College was hot in the first half shooting 55% from the floor while SU was 42.9%.

By six minutes into the second half Southwestern had pushed their lead to 20, 49-29, with solid offensive execution and by hitting the offensive glass.
