Kenneth Eboh

Kenneth Eboh was named the Southwestern University Track & Field Head Coach in the Spring of 2020 after spending the previous eight seasons as an assistant coach and interim head coach for the 2020 season. Eboh was also named the Interim Head Cross Country Coach in August 2022. 

In Eboh's first season as head coach, the Southwestern men's and women's team combined for 13 all-conference finishes, including the individual champion in the women's discus. Additionally, in Eboh's tenure as interim and head coach, the women's track and field team has set seven program records (4x100m Relay, 4x400m Relay, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin) and produced the program's first USTFCCCA All-Region athlete in Tiamara Hill-Johnson in 2021. 

Eboh joined the staff in 2012 as the throws coach under five-time Olympian and former Head Track & Field Coach Francie Larrieu Smith.

Since Eboh took the helm of the team's throws group, the Southwestern University men's team has had 14 all-conference performances, including three individual event winners in events Eboh coached. The Southwestern University women's team throws group has had 16 all-conference performances with three individual event winners. All men's and women's school throws records have been set under Eboh's guidance. 

Before Southwestern University, Eboh served as an Assistant Football and Track & Field Coach at Hanover College. While at Hanover, Coach Eboh was a part of multiple record-setting performances and back-to-back HCAC Championships teams in 2011 (Outdoor) and 2012 (Indoor).

Eboh played at NCAA Division II powerhouse Northwest Missouri State, where the Bearcats won a national championship in 1999 and three MIAA Championships during his tenure.

A 2003 graduate of Northwest Missouri State, Eboh earned a bachelor’s degree in interactive digital media with a concentration in visual imaging. He obtained a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University-Irvine.
