#4: Taylor becomes only SCAC athlete to win three consecutive pole vault titles

Cody Taylor has dominated his event during his time at Southwestern, winning the SCAC men's pole vault title each of the last three seasons. He is the first SCAC athlete to achieve the feat.

Taylor was the first to clear 12 feet, 11 1/2 inches to earn the victory. Miro Ronac Giannone of Trinity also clearned 12 feet, 11 1/2 inches, but needed more attempts to do so and placed second.

As a sophomore, Taylor won his first title by clearing 14 feet, 7.2 inches and in 2014, Taylor won by clearing 14.27 feet, 4.27 feet better than his next closest competitor.

The Southwestern men finished in third place overall at the 2015 conference championship.
