Sigler, Gammill earn superlative awards for second consecutive season

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Head Golf Coach Greg Sigler has been selected as the SCAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year and Tyler Gammill earn Co-Golfer of the Year honors the as announced by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Wednesday. 

Sigler led the Pirates to their second consecutive SCAC Championship, winning by nine strokes with a team score of 912. On the year, the Pirates posted five top five finishes including finishing in second place at the West Region Invitational. 

Gammill, a junior from Austin, Texas, was the medalist at the SCAC championship this season, recording a three round score of 226 (74-79-73). For the season, he posted a 74.28 scoring average, while recording three top three finishes and a pair of tournament wins, including the West Region Invitational. Gammill earned First Team All-SCAC honors with his finish at the conference championship and was also named to the PING All-Region team.

Gammill shares the honor with Joseph Wolcik of Schreiner University.
