GEORGETOWN, Texas - No. 13 Texas-Dallas rallied with three runs in the sixth inning to overcome Southwestern, 6-3, on Monday night at Rockwell Field.

The Pirates (18-18) held a 3-1 lead heading into the sixth, but Josh Covey's two-run single tied the game. The Comets (26-8) picked up the go-ahead run on a dropped fly ball.

Texas-Dallas added two more unearned runs in the eighth to pull away.

Southwestern, which wrapped up its home slate, was limited to six hits at the plate.

The Pirates will travel to Seguin this weekend for a pivotal three-game conference series with Texas Lutheran.
