GEORGETOWN - First-year pitcher Brett Marcom earned a spot on D3Baseball.com's Team of the Week after tossing a no-hitter for the Southwestern University baseball team against Schreiner University.

Marcom (2-1) faced just three batters over the minumim in the seven inning contest while holding the Mountaineers hitless. He struck out five and walked just two helping the Pirates to their first SCAC win during the league's opening weekend.

The Keller, Texas, native leads the team with 17 strikeouts earning his first complete game shutout of the season.
