PIRATES HAVE 47 STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO FALL 2009 ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2009 fall term and 47 Southwestern student-athletes representing all five fall sports were earned recognition. A record 780 student-athletes conference-wide made the list.

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, just over 15,500 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference. To view the entire release please click here.
