GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Southwestern Volleyball team is preparing for another exciting season and are excited to announce their 2018 season.

"Our staff and team are pleased with the level of competition we have been able to put together in the 2018 schedule," said Head Coach Don Flora. "Opening up our season in Southern California and competing against some strong regional teams and Carthage College will be a fantastic test to see where we are as a program. Also, having the opportunity to play CMS on their home floor will be a quality piece of this trip."

Southwestern is coming of another impressive season, going 30-6 overall and advancing to the NCAA Georgetown Regional Semifinal where they fell to eventual national champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 3-1. 

"We have also been able to have a few of the American Southwest Conference teams to commit to playing us at home this coming season, which will be a great test for the team. We are looking forward to having these in-state, yet out of conference match-ups," continued Flora. 

"The SCAC will be loaded again this season and with the addition of Johnson & Wales in Colorado, we will now have to travel to play in Colorado. This will be a good addition for the SCAC schedule."
