LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - For the third time this season, junior libero Brandi Campos was named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week after year another outstanding week for the Southwestern University volleyball team.

Campos averaged 6 digs per set, totalling 42 in the Pirates' two wins over ASC foes East Texas Baptist and Texas-Tyler. Campos also contributed three service aces on the day. Campos earned the honor in Week 3 and Week 4 of the volleyball season.

No. 5 Southwestern will take the weekend off before returning to SCAC play next weekend as they will head to San Antonio on the campus of Trinity University for the second round of divisional play. They open on Friday, October 13th against Schreiner at 4 PM.
