GEORGETOWN, Texas – A tight first set gave way to dominating wins in the second and third set as Southwestern defeated Concordia 3-0 on Tuesday night in Austin.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- SU hit just .184 but held CTX to .089 in the first set to win 25-23.
- The Pirates opened the second set with a 14-3 run to cruise to win 25-13 in the second set.
- Another early run set the stage for the Pirates to seal with win, taking the third set 25-18
