GEORGETOWN, Texas - For the ninth consecutive season, the Southwestern Pirates will be competing in the NCAA National Tournament after advancing to the SCAC Conference Tournament Finals.

Southwestern ultimately fell in five sets to Trinity in the Finals who earned the automatic bid to the national tournament and will also be serving as host for the Regional.

Following the Championship match, Olivia Drummond and Kaitlyn Foster were named to the SCAC All-Tournament team for their outstanding play over the weekend.

The Pirates will take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in San Antonio. Game times are yet to be determined.
