COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Southwestern defeated Centenary College 3-0 in the opening round of the SCAC Conference Tournament but fell 3-0 to Trinity to fall into the third place match.

The Pirates were strong against Centenary as they took the opening set 25-11. Southwestern's balanced attack kept the Ladies guessing while SU's defense never let Centenary get on a run as they took the second set 25-18 and third set 25-16.
