2011 (Junior)

Thibodeau had a great junior season for the Pirates which led to her being named AVCA DIII Honorable Mention All-America. She served as the main attacking threat and go-to hitter when SU needed a big kill. Thibodeau is a large reason Southwestern ended the year 18th in the nation in kills per set (13.06). She averaged three kills per set, 8th in the SCAC, and led Southwestern in kills with 351 on the season. Thibodeau was a strong all-around player for SU as she was third on the team in assists (24), first in aces (31) and second in digs (461). Thibodeau was also named to the AVCA All-South Region First Team, the All-SCAC First Team, and was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.  

2010 (Sophomore)

Thibodeau appeared in 133 sets in 40 matches for Southwestern. She was third on the team in kills (288) and kills per set (2.17) and posted a .157 hitting percentage. Thibodeau was fourth in blocks with 63 (17 solo, 46 assisted) and averaged just under half a block per set. She was also second on the team in service aces, recording 27 on the year with just 20 errors, posting a .22 service aces per set average. Thibodeau was selected to the NCAA Atlanta Region All-Tournament Team and the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team. She was member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

2009 (First-Year)

Played in 93 games in her first season with the Pirates...recorded 218 kills, 2.34 per game...had 128 digs, 1.38 per game...recorded six solo blocks and 43 blocking assists...named to the SCAC Fall 2009 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

High School

In her decorated career at JJ Pearce High School, Rachel both Academic All-District and All-State, 2 time First Team All-City, 2 time 2nd Team All-District, and was a member of the Regional Finalist volleyball team in 2009.  Rachel was the Co-MVP and Co-Captain in 2009 as well as the recipient of the 2009 Leadership Award.

Personal

Rachel is the daughter of Jack and Linda and has two siblings, Michael and Michelle.  Rachel is a Psychology major at SU.
