ATLANTA, Ga. - Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Thibodeau (pictured) was named to the Atlanta Regional All-Tournament Team for her performance over the weekend at the NCAA Volleyball Regionals.
Thibodeau was second on the team in kills over the weekend with 20 but led the team in hitting percentage among active hitters at .241. She had one ace and was third in digs with 21 while also recording three blocks.
The Pirates won their opening round match against Thomas More 3-1, but their comeback rally fell short in the semi-finals as they fought back from down 2-0 to California Lutheran but ultimately fell 3-1.
Southwestern finished the season with a 32-7 overall record after making their sixth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
