SAN ANTONIO - The Southwestern women's track & field team resumed its spring season Friday at the Trinity Tiger Invitational.
Tori Carraway and Jalynn Ashley led the Pirates at the meet.
Carraway finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.12 seconds. The College Station native also placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 33-2 (10.11m).
Meanwhile, Ashley logged a pair of top-10 finishes in the triple jump (6th, 35-2½) and the 100-meter dash (9th, 13.22). She also placed 12th in the long jump with a leap of 15-6 (4.72m).
Hanna Bruce turned in a ninth-place performance in the hammer throw with a toss of 114-4 (34.86m).
The Pirates will return to action on Friday, April 7, at the UIW Cardinal Invitational in San Antonio.
