ABILENE, Texas – The Southwestern University women's track & field team continued its outdoor season on Friday at the McMurry War Hawk Invitational.
The Pirates logged five top-10 finishes at the meet.
Marisa Morin placed eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 9.97m, while Noorie Han finished ninth after a mark of 9.92m.
Kelsey Faykus hurled the discus 31.40m to place ninth.
Southwestern's 4x400-meter relay team finished ninth overall with a time of 5:01.41, while the 4x100-meter relay squad earned a 10th-place finish after crossing the line at 54.29.
The Pirates will return to action on Friday, April 1, at the Trinity Tiger Invitational in San Antonio.
