Women's Tennis Reach Program's Highest ITA National Ranking

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The International Tennis Association (ITA) released  Mar. 28 the national ranking for Division III tennis and the Southwestern women's tennis team has reached their highest ranking in program history on the national level.

Claiming the 21st spot on the ITA Division III women's tennis list, this would mark the third year that women's tennis has been nationally ranked. Breaking down into regions the Southwestern women's tennis team holds 5th for the West Division III Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Also, two of Southwestern's women's tennis players have made the top 20 in individual ranking n the West. Mary Cardone has claimed 7th in the West as well as Esther Bowers who is ranked 19th.
