SAN ANTONIO - The 28th-ranked Southwestern women's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 16 Trinity in the SCAC Championship match Sunday at Al G. Hill Jr. Tennis Stadium.
The Pirates fell behind early, losing all three doubles matchups. The Tigers then collected wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles to clinch the match and the conference title.
Southwestern, which dropped to 20-3 overall this spring, reached the league championship match for the second straight season.
