THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Southwestern women's tennis pushed its winning streak to eight matches, as the Pirates defeated No. 40 Cal Lutheran, 6-3, on Monday night at the Poulson Tennis Center.
Southwestern (8-1) won two of three doubles matches to take the early lead. The Bucs then picked up four of six singles victories to claim the match.
Taite Drews-Jones clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles.
The Pirates will continue its California swing Tuesday against Occidental. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT).
