WHITTIER, Calif. - The Southwestern women's tennis team started its Spring Break trip on the right foot, as the Pirates blanked Whittier, 9-0, on Sunday.

Southwestern (7-1) earned its seventh consecutive victory.

Anna Schneemann and Emilie Moeller both netted 6-0, 6-0 victories to highlight singles play.

The Pirates will face Cal Lutheran at 8 p.m. (CT) Monday in Thousand Oaks, California.
