Kahl earned four letters in tennis at Sherman High School. She is a two-time team MVP and was a Regional Qualifier in 2012, Area Team Qualifier in 2013 and First Team All-District selection in 2013. A standout in the classroom, Kahl was an Academic All-District pick all four years and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
