Women's Swimming and Diving Wraps Up Meet With Trinity

SAN ANTONIO -- The Southwestern University Pirates women's swimming and diving team lost its head-to-head meet with the Trinity University by a final of 184-103.

Southwestern picked up its first victory in the seventh event with Emma Frey taking first in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:01.00. Rehgan Hartsell followed up with a win in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing at 1:09.40. Hartsell also won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:33.95. Natalie Gierat won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:19.40.

The Pirates will host UT-Permian Basin on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. The SCAC Championships in San Antonio will take place from Wednesday, Feb. 12 through Saturday, Feb. 15.
