Southwestern remains in third after day three of SCAC Championships

LEWISVILLE, Texas – The Southwestern University women's swimming and diving team remained in third place after the third day of competition at the SCAC Championships Friday at the Westside Aquatic Center.

The Pirates have amassed 467 points, trailing Colorado College (552) and Trinity (680).

Alexandra Morris placed third in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:47.28. Taylor Adams finished right behind Morris with a time of 4:48.06.

Kenly Gaynor also turned in a third-place performance in the 100-yard butterfly, as she touched the wall with a mark of 59.49 seconds.

Southwestern placed third in the 400-yard medley relay, as the team of Gaynor, Madison Doty, Sam Rao and Erika Dubros clocked in at 4:04.56.

The final day of the championship starts at 10 a.m. Saturday.
