LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Southwestern University senior Kenly Gaynor was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Gaynor posted a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly in Saturday's dual-meet against Trinity. The Perris, Calif., native also finished fourth in the 200-yard individual medley and helped the 200-yard medley relay team to a first-place performance.

The Pirates will continue their season Saturday in Midland, as they take on Texas-Permian Basin and Wayland Baptist. The tri-meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
