GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern women's swimming team was handed a 180-112 defeat by Trinity on Saturday afternoon at Walzel Natatorium.
The Pirates won six events on the day, including both relays.
Cara Chin started the meet with a win in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 25.54 seconds.
Alexandra Morris was victorious in the 1,000-yard freestyle, while Erika Dubros turned in a performance of 1:14.24 to win the 100-yard breaststroke.
Kenly Gaynor was first to the wall in the 100-yard butterfly, with a time of 1:03.00.
Southwestern will travel to Midland next Saturday to take on both Texas-Permian Basin and Wayland Baptist. The tri-meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
