GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern women's swimming and diving team posted a 168-95 victory over Austin College in Saturday's season opener at Walzel Natatorium.
The Pirates captured 12 victories on the day, including the 200-yard medley relay.
Erika Dubros picked up a pair of wins in the 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard freestyle. Cara Chin also won twice, touching the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly.
Taylor Adams posted a time of 2:20.49 to win the 100-yard butterfly.
Southwestern will return to action next Friday, as the squad will compete against both Rhodes and Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark.
