McCormack earns SCAC Swimmer of the Week honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sophomore Marisa McCormack of Southwestern University and freshman Mary Rose Donahue of Colorado College have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Female Swimmer and Diver-of-the-Week, respectively, for their outstanding performances this past weekend.

MARISA McCORMACK OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Mesa, Ariz., have been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, November 16th

McCormack led the Southwestern women this past weekend as they went into a head-to-head matchup with Centenary College.

McCormack had an outstanding meet, winning the 50 Free with a personal best time of 24.70. She would follow that up with her second personal best of the day, this time coming in the 50 Back with a time of 28.50.

SCAC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK

MARY ROSE DONAHUE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a first year from Lake Forest, Ill. has been selected the SCAC Women's Diver-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, November 16th

Donahue put together a great dive this past weekend against Adams State College.

Donahue remained undefeated on the season, beginning the day with a win on the 3-meter board with a score of 240.67. She followed that up with a win on the 1-meter board with a score of 234.50.

Southwestern defeated Centenary College in their first road meet last weekend. They continued their flurry of meets on Friday as they compete in the two day Tiger Shootout in Southlake, Texas.
