LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2016-17 All-America Scholar-Athletes and Southwestern University had six players named in the report.
Junior Taylor Curtis returned from last year's group and is joined by senior Marissa Irvin and first-years Andrea Hern, Lindsey Longuet, Maddie Lucero and Bailey Meyer.
To be named Scholar-Athletes, players must achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale.
