GEORGETOWN, Texas - Southwestern added two more to the win column Friday afternoon with a pair of 8-0 wins over Schreiner in SCAC action.

Taylor Curtis drove in the first run of a five-run second inning to give Southwestern all the confidence they needed the rest of the way.

Southwestern did all of their damage in game two with two outs, scoring all eight runs of the game with two outs.

Chandler Smith and Lindsey Longuet earned the wins on the mound for Southwestern.

The Pirates improve to 20-10 on the year and 13-3 in the SCAC, further steaking their claim for second in the conference. SU will look to replicate today's result with a double header on Saturday beginning at 1 pm.
