With another weekend sweep, this time over Centenary College, Southwestern softball improved to 8-0 in the SCAC and 12-10 on the season.

Stacy Rosengren continued her dominance at the plate, going 6-11 with two doubles and a homerun. She had a monstrous .909 slugging percentage and drove in four RBIs. Jordan Kunz was also outstanding at the plate with a team high .556 batting average, going 5-9 from the plate with five RBIs and three runs scored.

Cozette Palmer went 3-0 on the weekend while Alyssa Novander went 1-0. Palmer threw two complete games, allowing 10 hits in 13.2 innings of work with just three runs scored while striking out five and walking eight. Novander threw eight innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on ten hits while walking three and striking out seven.

Southwestern looks to extend their win streak as they remain at home to face the University of Dallas on Saturday and Sunday for a four game series.
