Our Lady of the Lake used a steady stream of offense at home to give Southwestern a double-header loss to open the 2015 campaign.

OLLU posted three runs in the first, two in the second, one in the third and four in the fifth to earn the 10-0 run rule win in game one. Southwestern posted just two hits in the game.

In game two, OLLU jumped out early again with three runs in the first, but this time the Pirates had the response with two in the second. The Saints posted two as well in the bottom of the second to push their lead back to three, 5-2. After one run in the third by OLLU, Southwestern posed a three run fourth to cut into the lead 6-5.

OLLU again had the answer with three runs in the fourth, before the Pirates cut into the lead for good with two in the sixth. Southwestern held the Saints scoreless in the bottom of the sixth but couldn't score in the top of the seventh to give the Pirates a 9-7 loss.

Southwestern opens the season at 0-2 on the year and have their home opener on Tuesday as they face Hardin-Simmons University for a double-header beginning at 1 p.m.
