GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern University women's soccer team won 2-0 in their season opener against the Sul Ross State University Lobos this Friday evening.

Sinking two goals in the first half, the Pirates gained the early lead and maintained the score 2-0 over the Lobos. Sophomore Hallie Rutherford scored her first season goal, and newcomer Juliet Pridgen was also able to add her first stat for the Pirates by assisting Rutherford.
