TYLER, Texas - Coach Linda Hamilton's squad faced their toughest opponent to date in UT Tyler and held the multi-facted offense to just two goals in a 2-0 loss Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates had their own outstanding looks at goal as well but were held scoreless. Malorie Lara and Annie Ewton both had shots on goal for SU while Kylie Hunt recorded seven saves between the posts.
Southwestern (0-4) returns to the road and SCAC action this weekend, facing Austin College in Sherman, Texas Friday evening and Centenary in Shreveport on Sunday.
