SEGUIN, Texas - Southwestern's scoring woes continued as they fell 2-0 in their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opener to Texas Lutheran University Friday evening. 

Southwestern was agressive out of the gate, getting solid looks at goal early, but TLU got on the board first with a goal in the 37th minute. TLU added another eight minutes into the second half and were able to hold off the Pirates the rest of the way. 

Malorie Lara and Annie Ewton both had shots on goal while Kylie Hunt recorded seven saves in goal. 

Southwestern (0-3) returns to action on Sunday at home, hosting UT Tyler at noon.
