SEGUIN, Texas - Southwestern dominated the shot count 17-7 and held Texas Lutheran to just one shot in the first half but fell 2-1 in overtime to close the regular season.

Texas Lutheran made the most of their only shot in that opening frame, scoring the first goal of the match. SU's Kiara Morales had the equalizer midway through the second half to force overtime. 

It took just 17 seconds for the Bulldogs to capitalize on the opportunity as Marisol Ramos scored from 10 yards out for the game winner.

Southwestern (10-7, 8-4) remains in second place in the conference heading into the conference tournament next weekend. The Pirates will take the second seed, earning the all important first round bye.
