LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - After advancing to the SCAC Championship Final for the first time the Southwestern Pirates had two team members earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Jakszta has been the leader of the team all season and Championship weekend was no exception. Jakszta took six shots over the weekend.
Miesse was an important part of the SU defense that recorded one shutout on the weekend and was one of the Pirates to put home a penatly kick in SU's win over Texas Lutheran to advance to the Finals.
Southwestern fell to #2 Trinity in the finals, ending their season at 10-9-1 on the year and 9-3 in the SCAC. Their nine conference wins set a new SU record for most conference wins in a season with the previous record being seven in 2007.
