NEWBERG, Ore. - George Fox jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first half and held off Southwestern to hand the Pirates a 12-3 loss Friday. 

Southwestern's offense posted just one goal with 13 minutes remaining in the first half and were unable to net another until 3:43 left in the second. 

Christine Rosendahl, Hayley Donnelly and Makaela Starks all recorded goals in the loss while Jordan Little posted nine saves. 

Southwestern drops to 6-7 on the year and return to play on Sunday, April 9th at Puget Sound at 11 am PT.
