UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – John Carroll posted 14 goals in the first half to hand Southwestern their seventh loss of the season 18-8 Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- John Carroll controlled the second half of the opening frame and led 14-5 at halftime.
- The run continued into the second half as JCU scored the first two goals after the break.
- Kate Davis broke the streak with a pair of goals, but the hole was too deep as the Pirates fell 18-8.
