GEORGETOWN, Texas – With their eighth win of the year the Southwestern women's lacrosse team set a new season wins record in their third season of play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Two quick goals to open the game put the Pirates on top early, but Linfield pushed one in and then scored three straight to pull within two, 6-4, with 13 minutes to play in the first.
- SU outscored Linfield 6-1 the rest of the way to lead 12-5 at the break.
- The Pirates dominated the second half and led 18-5 before Linfield scored one more time to arrive at the 18-6 final.
