WHITTIER, Calif. – Southwestern allowed 15 first half goals and weren't able to get going offensively to drop their contest in California 20-4 to Whittier.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southwestern lead briefly after back-to-back goals by Courtney Ragland, but Whittier went on a run to soar ahead 10-2.
- Ragland struck again but the Poets closed the half on a 5-0 run to send SU into the locker room down 15-3.
- WC started the second half with two goals and put Southwestern in a hole they were unable to get out of.
