GEORGETOWN, Texas – Rhodes surged ahead in the first half and Southwestern was unable to make up the ground as they fell 14-10 to Rhodes on a rainy Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was tied 1-1 when the game was delayed due to weather.
- Once play resumed Southwestern went up two goals 3-1 with 18:17 remaining in the first half.
- Rhodes sprung to life and scored ten straight goals that went into the early parts of the second half.
- The Pirates pulled within five, 12-7, with 10:38 left to play. Back-to-back goals by the Lynx put them just out of reach as Southwestern run out of time.
