Women's Golf Complete First Day at Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. -- The Southwestern women's golf team finished 7th in the first day of the 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at the Pine Lakes Golf Club on Friday, March 15.
 
The Pirates team scored 320 par on the first day,  with Emily Campbell tied for 16th place with a  77 par. Leilani McDaniel followed with a score of 80 par in the first round.  
 
New York University leads the pack with a score of 300 par, with Carnegie Mellon at 2nd with a score of 302 par.  Methodist University, placing at 3rd with a 289, is followed by Rhodes College in 4th, and St. Mary's College and Huntingdon College tied for 5th.
