Women's Golf Finished Third at the Claud Jacobs Invitational

VICTORIA, Texas – The Southwestern University Pirates women's golf team finished tied for third in the Claud Jacobs Invitational at the Club at Colony Creek.

Southwestern shot a +79, tying Ranger CC. Texas Wesleyan University won the event with a +62, followed by Murray State CC at +72.

Valentina Olivieri paced the Pirates with a score of 158, shooting an 81 on the first day and improving to 77 on the second, tying for seventh individually. Katherine Dyo tied for 12th with a 162. Mikayla Miller rounded out the Pirates' in the top 20 with a tie at 19, scoring a 167.

Dyo and Olivieri led all golfers in Par 3 scoring at _1. Emily Campbell and Olivieri led the Pirates with 20 pars.

Southwestern will compete in the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin, Texas at the River Place Golf Course from Sunday, Feb. 24 through Tuesday, Feb. 26.
