HOBBS, N.M. – The Southwestern women's golf team placed 4th in the Rockwind Links Intercollegiate Monday afternoon in Hobbs, N.M.
The Pirates had an impressive 333 in the final round and finished with a 335-333-668.
Junior Leilani McDaniel placed 5th for the Pirates and carded an 80-79-159 total. Only a few points away from the top three scores (155, 156, 157), McDaniel had the highest count of birdies (5) and finished 4-29 in the region.
Other standout players who made the top 25 in the tournament were Katherine Dyo 80-85-165, Valentina Olivieri 81-84-165 and Julia Wofford 94-85-179.
